Apple & Google Developer Account Setup Guide

PART 1: Apple Developer Account Setup

Before You Begin

 You will need:

• Registered corporation (recommended) or sole proprietorship (individual)
• Legal business name matching CRA records
• D-U-N-S Number (only for corporation, see D-U-N-S section below)
• Business website and contact details and valid phone number
• ID (driving Lisence or any other form of goverment issued ID)
• Credit card ($99 USD/year)
• Apple ID with 2-Factor Authentication enabled

How to Register for a D-U-N-S Number (If Required)

1. Visit: https://www.dnb.com/duns-number/lookup.html to check if your business already has a D-U-N-S number.
2. If not found, request one for FREE through Apple’s enrollment page.
3. Ensure your legal name and registered address match government records exactly.
4. Processing time is typically 5–10 business days.

Apple Enrollment Steps

1. Create an Apple ID using your business email on https://developer.apple.com/
2. Enroll as a Company/Organization or Individual.
3. Enter your D-U-N-S number and legal entity information and provide business documents.
4. Pay the $99 USD annual fee.
5. Wait for approval (2–10 business days).

Grant BookMi Access (Required)

After Approval

• Log into App Store Connect.
• Go to Users and Access → Add User.
• Add: developer@bookmi.ca
• Assign Admin role (Admin role is required for BookMi to set up the store page and submit and publish the app)
• Confirm access with your BookMi Project Manager.

PART 2: Google Play Developer Account Setup

Before You Begin

You will need:

• Google account (business email recommended)
• Legal business name
• D-U-N-S Number (only for corporation, see D-U-N-S section below)
• Business website and contact details and valid phone number
• ID (driving Lisence or any other form of goverment issued ID)
• Credit card ($25 USD one-time fee)

Google Enrollment Steps

1. Visit https://play.google.com/console/signup.
2. Register as an Organization account.
3. Complete identity and business verification.
4. Pay the $25 USD one-time registration fee.
5. Wait for approval (1–7 business days).

Grant BookMi Access (Required)

After approval:

• Go to Play Console → Users and Permissions.
• Invite: bookmitech@gmail.com
• Assign Admin role (Admin role is required for BookMi to set up the store page and submit and publish the app)
• Confirm access with your BookMi Project Manager.

Final Checklist

✔ Apple account created and approved

✔ Google Play account created and approved

✔ Invitations sent from your Apple and Google Play developer accounts to BookMi developer emails

✔ Confirmation email sent to BookMi
