Content Hub

Managing Content Hub

The Content Hub is where you create, organize, and publish articles for your website. You can reach it from the left sidebar of your admin dashboard — it expands to show two sections: Articles and Categories.

Articles

The Articles List

When you open Articles, you'll see all your content displayed as cards. Each card shows:

  • A thumbnail (or a default icon if no image is set)
  • A status badge — green for Published, blue for Draft
  • Any category tags the article belongs to
  • The title
  • The published date and time
  • Edit and Delete action buttons

Articles are sorted newest first by default.

Searching and Filtering

At the top of the Articles page you'll find a sticky toolbar with several tools to help you find content quickly.

Search bar Type at least two characters to search across article titles, body content, and category names. Results update automatically as you type (with a brief 300 ms delay). Press Enter to search immediately. Click the × inside the search bar to clear it.

Category filter Click the Categories dropdown to filter articles by one or more categories at once. Each selected category appears as a chip inside the dropdown. You can combine the category filter with the search bar at the same time.

Clear Filters button When any filter is active, a Clear Filters button appears in the toolbar. Click it to reset everything at once.

Infinite scroll As you scroll down, more articles load automatically. A "Loading more articles…" indicator appears at the bottom while they load, and "All articles loaded" appears once you've reached the end.

View Modes

The toolbar includes a toggle to switch between two view modes:

List View (default) All articles appear as individual cards, regardless of category.

Category View Articles are grouped into folder-style cards — one per category. Click a folder to open it and browse only the articles assigned to that category. While inside a folder you can search to filter articles within it. Each folder shows the category name and an article count.

Adding an Article

Click the Add Article button in the top-right corner of the toolbar. A form will open with the following fields:

Field Description
Title Required, The article headline.
Summary Optional, A short description displayed on listing cards.
Body Required, The full article content. Supports rich text formatting and HTML.
Feature Image Required, Upload an image to use as the article's thumbnail.
Categories Required, Assign the article to one or more categories.
Published Toggle on to mark the article as published, or leave off to save as a draft.
Published Date Set the date and time the article should become visible. The article will only appear on the public site if Published is on and the Published Date is in the past.

Click Save Article to create it, or Cancel to close without saving.

Editing an Article

Click the pencil icon on any article card to open the edit form. All fields are the same as when creating an article — simply update whatever you need and click Update Article to save your changes.

Deleting an Article

Click the trash icon on an article card. A confirmation dialog will appear with the message:

"Are you sure you want to delete this article? This action cannot be undone."

Click Delete to confirm, or Discard to cancel. Deleting an article also removes any associated notifications linked to it.

Draft vs. Published

An article is visible to the public only when both of these are true:

  • The Published toggle is turned on
  • The Published Date is set to a time in the past (or right now)

This means you can write an article today, set a future Published Date, and it will go live automatically at that scheduled time — without any extra steps.

Categories

Open Categories from the sidebar to manage the category list used across your articles.

Category Fields

Each category supports the following:

Field Description
Name The display name of the category
Icon Choose an icon from the icon library to represent this category
Icon Color Set a color for the icon
Image Upload an optional image to use instead of the icon

Adding a Category

Click Add Category to open the create form. Fill in the name and optionally set an icon or image, then save.

Editing a Category

Click the edit button next to any category to update its name, icon, or image.

Deleting a Category

Click the delete button next to a category to remove it. Deleting a category does not delete the articles assigned to it — those articles simply lose that category tag.

Tips

  • Use drafts to prepare articles in advance. Set the Published Date to a future time, then turn on the Published toggle when you're ready for a countdown-style release — or flip the toggle manually whenever you're ready.
  • Use categories to keep your content organized and to give your readers a way to browse by topic. You can assign a single article to multiple categories if it fits more than one.
  • The Category View is the fastest way to audit how many articles you have per topic and spot any categories that are empty or overpopulated.
