Managing Services
The Services section is where you create and manage every service your business offers. From the left sidebar, the Services section expands into several pages: Services, Categories, and Custom Fields.
Categories
Categories organize your services into logical groups. Setting them up first makes building your service list much easier.
The Category List
The Categories page shows all your service categories as cards in a grid. Each card displays the category icon or image and its name. The sticky header includes a search bar to filter by name and a New button to create a category.
Adding a Category
Click New to open the Add Category form. It has the following sections:
Name & Icon
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Category Name | Required. |
| Icon | Required. Choose from the icon library and set a color. A preview is shown as you select. |
Feature Image Required. Click Select Image to choose a photo from your media library. A preview appears once selected.
Custom Fields Optional. Attach one or more custom fields to this category. Any service assigned to this category will display those fields in its form. You can drag the fields to set their display order.
FAQ Categories Optional. Link one or more FAQ categories to this category. Services in this category can then display those FAQ questions on their detail page.
Policies Optional. Attach appointment policies to this category. These policies will be associated with bookings made for services in this category.
Click Submit to save.
Editing or Deleting a Category

Custom Fields
Custom Fields let you collect structured information that's specific to a category — for example, a "Skin Type" dropdown on a skincare category or a "Vehicle Type" single-choice on an automotive category.
The Custom Fields List
The Custom Fields page lists all your defined fields as cards. Each card shows the field title, its type badge (Dropdown, Single Choice, Multiple Choice, Dropdown Multiple Choice), whether it's marked Required, and how many options it has. The sticky header includes a search bar and a New button.
Adding a Custom Field
Click New to open the Add Field form.

Tips
- Build categories before services. Categories aren't just labels — they carry custom fields, FAQ links, and policies that automatically apply to every service you assign to them.
- Use Custom Fields sparingly. Add fields only when the data genuinely differs between services. A "Skin Type" field makes sense on a spa category but not on a general appointment category.
- The Sort feature controls display order. The order you set here is the order your customers see services listed on your site. Put your most popular services at the top.
- Use the Photo Album for social proof. Adding multiple photos to a service gives customers a better sense of what to expect, especially for visual services like haircuts, treatments, or space rentals.
- Inactive services are still editable. Leave "Available to book" unchecked while you're building a service. It won't appear as bookable until you check it, so you can take your time getting the details right.
